This beautiful park is located near the corner of Northern Parkway and Highgate drive. Boundary roads are Northern Parkway, Highgate Drive, Trainor Ave and Clover Road. Recent improvements include a new turf field where the Baltimore Terps play, a new playground, and a new scoreboard and goal posts. Inside the recreation center, the Baltimore Recreation and Parks Department offers programs, equipment and activities for local youth and community members. The huge tree in the center of the field is one of the oldest trees in the City of Baltimore.
The Friends of Pimlico Park board works with Baltimore City Recreation & Parks, as well as other government agencies and community organizations, to improve the park and enhance its value to the community.
